Hobbledown Heath

Hobbledown Heath

Hobbledown Heath within the Hounslow borough is a great spot for a fun-filled day with your family! Whether you are just looking for an afternoon activity, a gift experience for your child or perhaps a venue for a birthday celebration, this is a great option!

There are plenty of play areas to keep your kids busy and a cafe where you can enjoy some refreshments and tea or coffee. A firm favourite is the huge indoor soft play area, though be warned – your child may refuse to leave!

Make sure you don’t miss out on the Capybara feeding which is super popular both with children and adults alike! There is also the Junior Zookeeping experience which encompasses a range of activities including feeding the capybaras, reindeers, meerkats, cleaning the lemur enclosure and training the lemurs too. The great thing about this is experience is that it is entirely personalised to your child’s needs. So they can spend as little or as much time with each animal.

Throughout the year there are also themes, everything from Halloween, Hobble Hood archery, Bunny hop olympics, Easter egg quests to Christmas themed events.

Opening hours:

Mondays: 9.30am – 4.30pm

Tuesday – Thursday: 9.30am – 5.30pm

Friday: 9.30am – 7pm.

Saturday and Sundays: 9am – 7pm

If you’re looking for quieter times then we recommend going after 3pm, but do take into account that all the outdoor areas close at dusk.

Tickets:

They have a range of options to choose from so you’re bound to find one that meets your needs. The cheapest on offer is a time-slot ticket which is a great option if you know exactly when you want to visit. At a slightly higher price there are the anytime tickets which as the name suggests give you the flexibility to drop by whenever you want. If you want to save a few pounds, then the afternoon saver is great. These allow you entry after 3.30pm but the advantage being the centre is generally a bit quieter during these hours.

Don’t miss out on the toddler days – on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. These are discounted and also a great way for parents to meet, or go on play-dates! If you plan on visiting multiple times, then do have a look at the membership options on their website.
